Landing page is a website but with a set target or purpose behind it e.g. get users to sign up for mailing list or to create an account. Where as a website will be an overall in-depth business or brand focused webpage with many features and opportunities linked to the business needs or wants.
Landing pages do have an advantage over ordinary large websites, due to the fact that landing pages have;
For example, this landing page is from ‘’Supremacy’’ a worldwide music festival. The main goal of their landing page is to convince the user to become a member by creating an account through using their email to sign up to their newsletter, giving updates about the concerts this way.
Personally, land pages are interesting and useful to an everyday person as many people have limited time and can often become confused with large websites and get easily lost. Therefore my own landing page should be created for simple navigation and focus on the main goal to try and get users to sign up by scanning a QR code on the website through their phones.
There are many ways in which a brand or a start up can create a mobile application. Companies can hire a development team that will professionally create your app with conductive research, wireframing and keeping up with updates or any changes throughout the creation process. Although hiring a development team can be expensive depending of the teams wanted salary.
Nowadays there are many alternatives to hiring development teams, such as hiring private or public freelance designers who are willing to do projects at a lower cost and faster delivery time, for example on websites like Fiverr.
