Today we have focused on the importance of colours in branding process as well as in overall design stages, and how everything around us has specific colours to its wanted message, posters, advertisements etc.
We have understood how important colour psychology is in design and this is a point I will further investigate as I am personally learning psychology in my spare time, so this is quite interesting on how the colours around us and the colours that we are exposed to in mobile applications can affect us rapidly on how we feel while inside the application and what energy it gives off.
What I have realised as well is that many companies are beginning to use light gradient colours as they are seen and received as peaceful and non stressful in the teenage community, therefore there is a large rise of this trend which is quite understanding and interesting to follow.
We have also been introduced to brand guidelines and advised to begin to think of how we will structure this for our brand and how we will show the brand from a detailed point of view, this has set interest in me and will try my best to represent my own brand in the best spotlight as I possibly can.
