A task has been set and must be completed by 11:30. As a class we have to select couple of typefaces and select one of our business names that we have been going through with.

Using typeface analysis we have to analyse our font with the business name on it to truly understand the importance and value of typography and analyse with learning about the different aspects of it such as importance of Baseline & X-height in typography which creates balance inside the typeface.

I have found the task fairly easy to complete but yet interesting as it put many ideas to my mind of how the words could be shown. I have went with the more visual look to the words, although if I was exposed to this challenge again in the near future, I would try to attack this challenge with designing more icon or glyph like objects using the words.

Although this week was interesting, it has certainly opened up my creativity within word representation, especially with the word ‘’Speech’’ as I have included the 3 text speech dots instead of the double E E. This was my favourite word I have created out of the entire bunch.
