This week I will be focusing on gathering appropriate research material that was listed in the project brief. I am exposed to this new topic therefore reading the brief multiple times and researching into the appropriate work styles will be my main focus.
Firstly, I will be gathering images from online on areas such as pinterest or google images and creating a moodboard for this project. This will allow me to come up with new ideas and feel inspired for new ways of looking at this task.
During the last days of this week, I will begin to look at the typographic work of Dadaists as their work has intrigued me and it looks like it is a style I would like to use for the task or take some of their techniques and apply it to my own design.
This week I have been researching deeply into the listed groups/artists to get an idea of what the posters are required to have. The research is now complete, with taken notes and techniques listed that could be implemented into my own work.
Also I have created a moodboard which will allowed me to look at other modern designers and view how they tackled this poster.

Next week I will begin sketches to help me get an appropriate design idea for this project.
I have many ideas for this project as of now even while doing the research. The target is to create an eery like atmosphere around the poster as I chose article nr. 5
‘’No one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, Inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment’’
The complex and unorganised work of ‘’Kleine Dada Soirée’’ created by Dadaists has inspired me to create an unorganised and chaotic like poster, to show the mis-treatment of humans and the unfair treatment of humans in areas of life.
Currently I have began making rough sketches of many ideas about the poster. On my iPad I am still this week inspired by ‘’Kleine Dada Soirée’’ poster therefore I decided to match the style and create a rough sketch of it, this is the outcome.
