I have analysed the brief set for the project and took key notes to understand the information needed to make this essay a successful one. A link to ‘Essay 101’, an essay planning powerpoint has been linked to us, for us to receive tips and help from it on how to plan or structure our essays, I have looked over it and took key notes on this.
At the beginning I was going to do overall artist research, from his early life till death, although after reading the brief, that idea was unnecessary as we have to answer a topic related question, therefore in my upcoming research I will be focusing purely on research about the artist around the chosen question.
Looking through the artists list that was provided to us, Wolfgang Weingart attracted my eyes the most therefore I will continue research on him and trying to answer the given question that will be set on how he became the father of new wave typography.
I have researhed multiple websites, from Weingarts life to the effects and beginning of the created New Wave. Now I will transfer the digitally written notes from my iPad onto notion.
Before writing my essay, I am structuring it by creating bullet points on what exactly needs to be included so the most important information is put across into the essay.
During the ending of writing the essay I began to struggle with reaching the 1500 words, although reading over my text I was able to fix some of the misspellings and use correct wording to define some of the ideas I had in my mind to argue against.
I will be creating sketches now for the website, aswell as looking at the previous students website pages that our teacher has listed to take some design inspirations.
I will be checking my essay now in Turnitin to make sure my essay is valid to use and not alot of similarities are found.
I am extremely proud and happy to see that my essay has only 5% similarity. Therefore I can continue to begin my website Ideas.
